Weight loss is a constant work on your body that not only needs tweaks in your diet and workouts but also intense mental strength. The same was proven by a highly dedicated and consistent youngster Diksha, a nutritionist who clearly knew how to achieve her weight loss goals.
According to Diksha, who lost 28 kg, she invested heavily emotionally and physically, sacrificing a lot on a regular basis to achieve the body of her dreams. She totally eliminated unhealthy habits, reduced the intake of her favourite foods, and adopted a healthy lifestyle.
An integrative health coach, Diksha has shared her incredible and inspiring journey, where she also talks about making such practical sacrifices.
According to Diksha, she lost weight consistently by eating just home-cooked meals, which she made using interesting recipes and a dedicated workout regime. Explaining her weight loss journey on Instagram, she explained the five realistic sacrifices that helped her lose weight.
If the weight loss process becomes too fast with the help of an extreme diet, the probability of gaining it back is higher.
Diksha said she did not give in to the cravings too frequently and that helped her slow down cravings, making her progress fast. She advises creating a plan for your meals and indulgences and, whenever possible, swapping the cravings for healthier alternatives.
Diksha said if she was forced to eat late dinners due to some social commitments, she would feel heavy and uneasy while sleeping.
According to Diksha, she understands her body’s needs more than 80–85 per cent of the time and that is when her body also supports her by metabolising the food quickly when she indulges in her favourite foods.
